‘Tropical Sound Machine’ nasce dall’amore di Lorenzo ‘Mr. Island’ Commisso per l’exotica, la cumbia, l’estetica tiki e i campionamenti dell’immensa natura che circonda l’America del Sud e l’Oceania. ‘Tropical Sound Machine’ è l’esordio di Mr. Island dopo le due perle tropicali comprese in ‘Istituto Italiano di Cumbia vol.1’, in compagnia di nomi nuovi del movimento SUR italico come Los3saltos, Cacao Mental e Davide Toffolo. I glitch tropicali di Mr. Island nascono da una profonda conoscenza della musica del Centro e del Sud America e della tradizione exotica. Mr. Island è un etnologo del relax, un collezionista di immagini e suoni lontani.
